We are Foxface.
Welcome to our website.
We are musicians.
We are one female and two males.
In the next few days there will be some photos going on-line but briefly we’d like to thank: all the GalGael people for their help, encouragement and soup/tea/coffee, Kenny and Nick for the technical side of things, Laura and Lorraine for their vocals and Simon for putting together a moving and thought provoking piece of film. The film will be screened again on the 17th May as part of Reshuffle in the Pearce Institute in Govan. If you haven’t seen it then go and see it…if you have then go again!
Also, thanks to those who turned out on Friday and braved the freezing GalGael yard!!! It was a fantastic night…and booze free too! Who’d have thought it possible
Peace.

Good afternoon brothers and sisters.
Apologies for the radio silence here but we are now dipping a tentative paw into the world of website editing and hope to get this beast up and ambling along, if not running.
The last few months have been spent researching and writing material to be used as a soundtrack for a documentary by our friend and independent film-maker, Simon Yuill.
The film will be called ‘Given To The People’ and the subject matter is the origins, activities and philosophy of the Pollok Free State – an anti-motorway protest group that arose in the mid 90’s.
The film will be screened as part of the Glasgow International arts festival taking place this year over March and April. The date for the screening and live performance will be the 18th April. Entry is free. See the live section for more information.
More to follow soon…

Have a nosey at some reviews of the ‘Ballads of the Book’ compilation, a record released by Chemikal Underground to which we contributed ‘Dreamcatcher’, a song we wrote with the poet Rody Gorman.
